Product Features:

Our sturdy one-piece galvanized steel egress ladders are required by code for wells over 44 inches deep from the bottom of the well up to the lip of the well.

All rungs are 12 inches apart16 inches wide, and the uprights are 12 inches apart. The rungs protrude 4″ into the well; enough space to step on, but won’t be in the way of a crank-out window. Ladders for concrete/brick are intended to fit an 8 inches ledge.

  • The ladders are easy to install. As a homeowner, you can make it your next DYI project. To install the egress window ladder, hook it over the well’s lip on the side of the window opening. Attach the ladder to the well with stainless steel screws for additional stability.
